What is Click & Collect?
Click and collect allows you to make your purchases online from your home and to come and collect your products in the shop on the desired date! It's quick and easy!

Where and when do I pick up my order?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the date, the address of the shop and the time. Please note that it is not possible to collect products from the Cedric Grolet Opera boutique at the Le Meurice boutique and vice versa.

I would like to order for tomorrow but I am given a minimum delivery time of 48 or 72 hours.
Some of our creations, especially the large pieces, require more preparation time and a longer lead time. For any order placed after 3pm, the minimum delay is 72 hours. Thank you for your understanding.

Is it possible to order a pastry from the Opéra boutique and pick it up at Le Meurice (or vice versa)?
The production of our pastries is done on site at both locations. Each production is therefore linked to its own sales outlet and it is therefore impossible for us to transfer products from one sales outlet to another. Thus the products available on the Le Meurice interface are only available for collection at 6 rue de Castiglione and the products available on the Cédric Grolet interface are only available for collection at 35 avenue de l'Opéra.

Why can't I buy fruit at the Cédric Grolet Opera boutique?
Fruit is the signature product of the Le Meurice boutique and is only produced in the laboratory of the Le Meurice hotel. They are therefore only available for collection at the boutique at 6 rue de Castiglione.

Can I order products from both boutiques at the same time?
It is possible to order products from both boutiques, but they will be separated into two baskets and two orders since you will have to collect the Le Meurice products from the boutique at 6 rue de Castiglione and the Cédric Grolet Opéra products from the boutique at 35 avenue de l'Opéra. Depending on the products, the production time may be different and the day of collection may also vary. We advise you to read the information below each product.

I would like to collect my pastry order before 10am (or noon for Le Meurice), is this possible?
The shop opens at noon, so it is not possible to collect your order before then.

Do I have to wait to collect my order?
No. There is a quick wait dedicated to click & collect orders.

Is it possible to order products for two different dates?
No, you will have to place two separate orders for the dates concerned. Two confirmation emails will be sent to you to validate your two orders.

Why can't I order for a distant date?
It is not possible to order more than one month in advance simply because we change the cards regularly, according to the seasons and the products available from our suppliers. So a creation can be on the menu in March and be replaced by a new one in April!

I would like to place a new order on the spot, is this possible?
It is perfectly possible to place a new order on the spot when you come to the shop. However, we cannot allow you to skip the queue. This would not be very respectful to the customers who have been waiting patiently for their turn.

Is it possible to reserve a table in the Opera Room/Tea Time at Le Meurice?
You can book a table on the reservation tab. For tea time at Le Meurice, the reservation tab will take you to the hotel's reservation interface. All modifications, cancellations or specific requests must be addressed to the hotel directly, as Cédric Grolet Opéra and the Le Meurice boutique are in no way responsible for managing these requests, as they are different from the restaurant.

Can I order fruit off the menu?
The fruit listed on the website are the only products available for sale and correspond to the seasonality. We refuse to produce hazelnuts in May for example.

What payment methods are accepted in the shop?
We accept payment by credit card, American Express and cash in both shops.

Where can I get the books?
The French version of the books is available for purchase online for collection in the shop. The English version is also available at the Le Meurice boutique. The FNAC special edition is only available in FNAC shops.

Is it possible to have it signed?
If the chef is present on the day of your visit, he will be happy to sign it for you, but we cannot guarantee that he will be there.

I bought a pastry and it arrived broken or cracked.
The packaging is designed and made to measure so that the desserts cannot break. We are in no way responsible for any transport problems (motorbike, bicycle) or for someone who may have bumped into you in the metro. I would like to make a story or photos for instagram?
You are free to take photos and stories for your instagram content in either shop. However, there are no freebies or exchanges for this type of service.

I bought a fruit and there is no decoration leaf
The leaf is a decorative element of the fruit. We cannot obtain enough leaves for each of the creations sold.

From what time can I collect my order?
Orders can be collected from 10am to 5pm from Wednesday to Sunday at the Cédric Grolet Opéra boutique and from noon from Tuesday to Sunday at the Le Meurice boutique. Please note that some pastries require a last minute finishing touch (e.g. minute poached Saint Honoré), so you may have to wait a few minutes before you can collect your order.

How do I transport my pastries?
The preparation of the orders is done by us, we pay particular attention to the packaging of your pastries. The packaging is designed and adapted to facilitate transport and to prevent the pastries from being damaged once they arrive at your home. However, we recommend that you transport the pastries as straight as possible without making any sudden movements (some pastries can be very fragile) within 1h-1h30 depending on the outside temperature. However, if your journey takes longer, we recommend that you collect your order with an insulated bag to ensure that the pastries remain at an ideal temperature.

How do I store my pastries?
Our pastries can be stored in the refrigerator at 0 to 4 degrees Celsius in their packaging (to avoid humidity). They are best eaten the same day to ensure the best freshness and flavour combination desired by the chef.

Unfortunately it is not possible to make an appointment with the chef for a photo or an autograph. On the other hand, the chef regularly visits his shops, so if you see him he will be delighted to do so!

Is it possible to have my order delivered?
An online shop is specially dedicated to delivery. Deliveries are only available on Saturdays and Sundays. No click & collect orders can be delivered.

How will my order be delivered?
Deliveries are made in a refrigerated lorry to guarantee the freshness of our products. Each cake will be delivered in its Cédric Grolet packaging.

Can I have my order delivered if the address is not on the list of cities served?
All cities available for delivery are listed on the website. If you enter an address outside the delivery area, your order cannot be delivered and will be cancelled.

What are the delivery times?
Deliveries are divided into 3 slots. 09:30/12:30 - 12:30/15:30 - 15:30/18:30

How do I receive my order and if I don't answer?
Please fill in all the necessary information to receive your order and remain available during the selected time slot in order to guarantee the delivery. The courier will contact you directly by phone. If you are not available, the courier will wait 10 minutes and automatically send a text message. If we are unable to reach you, no delivery will be rescheduled and your order will unfortunately be lost. The Cédric Grolet Opéra shop cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of your order due to absence or wrong information
